The most horrible thing about this poster is that it contributes to the fallacy that having five cars and a huge mansion will necessarily make you happy.
The way I see it the ‘war on inequality’ is following in the steps of the ‘war on drugs’ and the ‘war on terror’.
Fighting symptoms never cures the ailment, at most it provides temporary relief until the patient’s death, pun intended.
What we need is something to hope for, to believe in.

Misogyny and misandry are equivalent scourges.
I fail to see any difference between ‘kill all men’ and “beat her savagely, laughing as he licks the tears from her crying eyes.”
Murdered feminist activist Grace Mann
Last month, police say, University of Mary Washington student and feminist/LGBT activist Grace Mann was murdered — bound and asphyxiated by a male housemate and fellow student.
An antifeminist blogger is blaming her death on feminist jokes about misandry.

Why read ‘philosophy’?
To better understand what’s going on around us, to find out what the ‘great minds’ had to say about the world in general or to be able to make ‘intelligent conversation’ in certain circles?
Why share our thoughts?
To measure them against what others have to say about the same subjects or as a ‘desperate attempt’ to change the world? (Supposedly for the better, of course! But then again, better for whom? Better than what?
And what do you mean by ‘better’, anyway?
The folks over at Answers in Genesis recently tackled the question, “When exactly was the Flood?”. After consulting his Bible and with a little help from Bishop James Ussher, David Wright of AiG provides the answer:
Using the Bible, well-documented historical events, and some math, we find that the Flood began approximately 4,359 years ago in the year 1656 AM [anno mundi] or 2348 BC.
So there you have it. Only 8 people left alive on the planet in 2348 BC.
That got me thinking. What other “well-documented historical events” might have been going on in the 24th century BC? Let’s take a look …

This picture says it all!
One type of civilization advances behind a mask while the other refuses to see what is going on.”That’s one way to interpret this image.
Another one, among many others, could be:
‘Those who do not feel free are actively looking for a way out of their predicament while those who have grown careless are no longer aware of what is going on around them. And, dear reader, when considering any of these interpretations, please bear in your mind mind that each of them has been put forward by a human being, animated by a specific set of beliefs and convictions which have been heavily influenced by his personal set of life experiences.

God! Some relate to it as if it were separated from this world. The God from ‘Deus ex Machina’. The Creator who remains outside its Creation.
This benediction is about something totally different.
Here God IS the world itself.
This way each of us is no longer alone but a part of something that is both bigger than the sum of the individuals that compose it and meaningful.
